The Career War
Well for me, life hasn’t been so great
And it won’t get better
The bloody wars may be over
But the fighting hasn’t stopped
Everyday I will fight to keep my career
I want to be a costume designer
A writer
A restaurant owner
A homeless advocate
But now?
With every job you must fight
You must give 200
You must bleed,
Sweat
And cry to survive
Because that is what we have to do
The world is dangerous
It’s a war
If you don’t fight?
You die.
