Captivating Fear

Lots of us wonder what tomorrow holds.

The idea of the unknown controls

How we take on each day and make it our own.

Each person has a purpose,

The difference between success and failure lies within.

Within the mind,

Within one's drive,

And within the willingness to accept;

To accept a chance of failure to strive for the ultimate goal of success.

Now doesn't that seem all the more captivating?

Imagine if success was easily attainable.

Would we be gravitating,

To it just as much?

Failure, they say,

Is a common fear.

People do not want to fail,

I do not want to fail.

Though the essence of this fear can work towards benefiting

What I work so hard towards avoiding;

Failure.
