Caged

Everyday begins the same way
with more rules and fewer ways to say
how I feel, what I'm thinking.
All because I don't know where I'm going.
I'm feeling caged
like a dog with a muzzle
I'm unable to do or say anything
Just doing what I'm told and listening
as I get deeper and deeper into my same cages.
The same cages that society puts us all in, one without wages.

All of the stresses that this past year have put on to me by school, college, work, and relationships add up to an overwhelming feeling of entrapment.
