The Cage

“Sleep, so calm among the fire, burning deep your dark desires.

As he aimlessly waits for you to cave, to melt away your horrid shame.

He knows your secrets, your faults, and your needs.

He drags you there upon your knees.

Blood stained and bruised, your weaknesses arise, bubbling up like molten lies.

Your breath is hot and it stings to breathe, your eyes are flushed just as the sea.

He can see your soul; it pours out fears, releasing the longing to drown in your tears.

The awaiting sensation of freeing your mind, and to say what you think with your thoughts running awry.

He lingers in corners, he whispers his deeds, he stares you down, releasing his seed.

At the cross roads you stand, fighting your fate, somehow hoping to be cleared from the slate.

But now you are trapped, there is no way out.

You can beg all you want, but theres no hope now.

So, I hope someday you’ll pay off your debt, because the devil himself, he’ll never forget…”
