A Butterfly In Winter

A Butterfly In Winter

How dare you dance in this cold temperature?

Are you being neglected by mother nature?

For some, you might as well be an outcast

Alone out there, how long will you last?

Hey sweet butterfly, put on this white fur

Let the freezing wind take you on a tour

Your huge wings carrying the heavy snow

There, a polar bear is watching your show

Butterfly? You must envy this white animal

This infernal cold, for him, feels heartily natural

Fear not sweet little butterfly, you'll grow old

Perhaps by then, you'll be accustomed to the cold

Meanwhile little butterfly you must carry on

Spring is close, but winter is a cold demon

The sun although bright can't keep you warm

Sadly, this demon wants to cause you harm

There goes a butterfly dancing in winter

Poor creature, can life be even more bitter?

Bravely, the little beast carries his burden

He wants to turn winter into his glowing garden
