Brown Girl

I'm more than the colour of my skin

You can talk that talk

But you won't see what’s within

Another day passes

And you wanna assume the worse

Yet I try to pass my classes

But everyone reckons I’m tryna steal a purse

But if you look into my eyes

yous may be able to lose your sight

I’m here for a reason

To show my true talent and to fight

I’m more than the colour of my skin

I’m that brown girl in the ring
