Brown Eyes

Like an acorn planted deep within a soul; grown into a beautiful oak casting shade over all you once thought you wanted. Providing a thirst that could only be quenched by the innate desire to explore those branches. To not peel bark, but much rather experience its tribulations by running your delicate hands over its grizzled texture. Finding beauty in the mystery of what lies beyond and peace in the fact that you have found yourself in someone else.

A pool of sweet, dark cinnamon swirled into a curved ocean of pearly white joy. Oh please don’t leave, but please do go.

Like mahogany lips kissing a glass of ice cold milk. So beautiful. So natural. As flawless as if it were scripted.

Rings of tarnished gold coddling the path to a limitless heaven. Having seen too much, or maybe just enough, and still as stunning as the first drop.

Like a ring of honey drizzled onto a sheet of colorless complacency, staying true to its shape and nature even in a sea of questions and doubts. A stubborn ring of honey that will never forget itself or where it came from.

Lighting up a room like sunshine through whiskey. Without the whiskey; desperate ice cubes kissing the desert floor of an empty glass, but with it a kaleidoscope of passion and excellence.

Like hot chocolate and coffee in the midst of a blizzard, each trapped in a ceramic mug with their very own iris Kiss, drawing the the attention of every fluttering flake. The sweet inviting aspirations of the hot chocolate and the bitter independence found in the composure of the coffee put on the most intricate of choreography as they pursued each other through the brisk air of the midnight sky, the mixture being a delicacy to be enjoyed by only the finest of souls.
