Broken Roads and Cracked Pavements

Broken Roads and Cracked Pavements-Stella D’Vine

Shoes scuffing over the cracked pavements.

Some trip.

Some fall.

Scabs, blood, pain.

The broken roads are even more treacherous.

Potholes and bends.

Sharp turns and bikers.

They are a sequential hazard.

Day or night,

Broken roads and cracked pavements condemn us all.

They are art as they are a curse.

Telling a story of erosion.

Telling a story of the hack job.

Of accidents.

And of  natural disasters.

These are my broken roads and cracked pavements.
