Broken

Location

Walking down the sidewalk On a cool autumn day Thinking about the future Watching the children play.  You want to be a teacher You finally figured it out You know how much it matters To help these kids grow up.  No one gives much mind To how difficult it must be To be a child in school Wondering who you'll be.  I've always wondered too Where I will end up And I never quite understood How I could move on.  My life has never been This jumbled and confusing But I finally see the truth It's you who's really broken.
