Lost in a whirl of something dark

Wondering around, don't know where I'm going

Hold me tight

Will you bring me home tonight?

I will sleep in your arms and wait

to awake to another day

I can be patient, for your smile

I like to look into your hopeful eyes

Lay my head on your shoulder

breathing in the warmth

But Now I am lost in the cold again

holding on, waiting for it to end

Come down from heaven, wrap me in your wings of softness

Hold me tight

Bring me home tonight

Life can sometimes get us down, but I know I can count on you

My dear friend, I couldn't live without you

You help me see what I couldn't see before

Lost in a whirl of something dark

laying down in the ice-cold snow

Hold me tight

Bring me home tonight
