Brightest Day

In brightest day, birds sing
The winds dancing merrily on their wings
The sun’s rays bounces
As a kitten pounces
On a piece or yarn
Eyes open and the world is clear
There is no need for fear.
For when we wake up in the morning,
The day can truly begin.

The city hustles and bustles
The country is quiet, but active
The shadows wash away
When the sun is highest
And all despair has gone away
Daytime is fresh
