The Break
Oh, how I love to ski
Bundled up from head to toe
Until I broke my knee
Crashing through the shoddy snow
Coming around the corner
I was in the lead by far
Nobody thought to have a warrener
The speed was beyond bizarre
Ahead in a bright orange sled
I lay awake and text
Telling everyone about my swollen head
Wondering what happens next
I may never ski the same
But I will forever go down in the fall of fame
This poem is about:
Me
