Branding Controversy

Dark masks that cover everything except the lips on the face.

Black face?

Or a ski mask either way we accept it but still are somehow amazed.

Clearly desginers do not want blacks wearing their brand.

Yet still we consider it fresh.

The massess with money project to the youth that Loui Vuttion and Gucci is considerd fresh.

I cannot press the message, because I fall for it myself.

Only the poor fall the expensive scam.

Sickening.

What hurts most of all is that desginers know that African Americans mostly buy their brand.

To be realistic, when a young black youth has an abundant amount of cash in his hand he tends to want to spend it.

On Black Watch Polo or a Ferragamo belt.

Either a 100$ shirt or a 400$ belt.

His conscious is at a standstill seeeing he does not know which will show his wealth.

Yet he fails to realize that we should not be buying whats high on the racks.

Places like Saks and Neiman Marcus are nothing but places to exploit our pockets and contribute to their wealth.

In today's world youth do not know the value of a dollar.

We as African Americans emphasize that more money dimishes our problems.

But in reality, " Mo Money Mo Problems".

As an African Americna we see money as help.

Because, to be frank America does not care about our problems, there thrown off the shelf of democracy and swept into a bag full of poverty.
