The Boy

Never, never, never
I said
Would I date a boy with all of THAT hair on his head.

Yes he was weird,
And he had a mini-beard,
Which mean manhood was on the horizon.

I resisted for as long as I could,
Then I
Fell,
In
Love.

Who would’ve known?
I tried to keep it from being shown,
But, my had my love grown!

One day, I cracked under pressure,
And confessed.
Leaping Lizards! Luckily, I was blessed!

I jumped up and did kicks and flips;
I spun and hit some dips.

Taking changes is sometimes hard to do,
But when someone tickles your fancy,
It’s their heart you ought to pursue.

Love is love, and it has no bounds
Even between the least expected,
It can be found.
