The Boy

A Boy, not a man, shot down by hands that have felt twice as much

Cheeks and  a smile that brighted a mothers day

Eyes and feirceness that made a father proud

Cheeks and eyes that happen to be brown

Now gone

Belonging to another curly-haired angel to be risen above the clamor for justice in the land of the "free"
