Boston Marathon- A Tragedy

Joy, sweat, and smiles ran this race
Anxiety and hope filled my face
Legs moving so fast to the great finish line
Thinking the satisfaction of winning will finally be mine
But what awaits this nation is nothing but war
The bomb goes off and limbs it tore
What irony did seem to end this race
Nothing but tears stream down my face
