Body, Spirit, and Thought. What else?

Undeniably, the body cannot live without the mind

It is like planning to seek a treasure one must find

The strength to act in order to survive

but without spirit, all actions, contrive

Like a hunter and gatherer, you must think first

so that you may endure life's weary thirst

Like a spartan warrior, chanting, "there is always victory"

so that honored unto death, be written in history

As time passes by, the new generation of mankind has thrived

because we have thought in order to survive

building skyscrapers that grow to the sky

mentally curious, asking, "who, what, when, where, and why?"

To survive on an island all worried and alone,

there is one idea I can't live without, other than the body, spirit, and thought,

3 things I can learn to cope

the idea, the four-lettered, invisible-believing word I call: Hope.
