The Body

The Body of my love is a wonder to behold-

temperature rises with each furtive glance

a boiling in my blood

my heart quickens it's step-

The ineffable rises and curves of The Body

muscles ripple, flex and stretch forward further

reaching, grasping for me

the desire plain to see

Unblemished skin -satin smooth- travels beneath my hands

The Body exposed in naked innocence

electric attraction-

my intoxication

In all its splendor, sumptuousness and majesty

My Love still hides behind it's sculpted beauty

The Body, after all-

nothing but a body
