a blurry figure

I like the way I look in the mirror

without my glasses on

a blurry figure

with less imperfections

It’s funny how the illusion comes

when I can see myself most clearly

when I can compare myself to others

and tell myself lies

that I’m not good enough

skinny enough

pretty enough

It’s funny how

my blurry body

gives me a better perspective
