Blurred Vision

"Everything isn't always what it seems."

"Everything that glitters aint gold."

Those sayings are so old yet they still apply to now

Through my blurred vision I felt the pain of the meaning of these saying

Im still tryna comprehend in my brain, if I give up myself I'll be alone

with the consequence of a child to care for

Through my blurred vision, I can read between the lines....

The very thing I thought... wasn't what it seemed

It was so bright, it's glitter shined brighter than the stars and the sun put together, but it wasnt gold

Through my blurred vision... I can read between the lines
