Blue Skies Never End

The leaves are green full of summertime things

The bark, brown, waiting for the chilly fall-time to come down

I say “I love him” then he lets me go

Knowing I’ll come back for more

I feel this pain

I feel my heart break

No cast can ever repair this

The tears I cry hurt so bad, knowing he’s unphased

Yet my love for him is like the sky, never ending going on forever

Why do we love, love but love seems to hate us?

I tried to let go and just set you free

But instead you come and set fire to my heart

Head over heels? I think its heels over head

I fall flat on my face and can’t get up

You then stomp on me smothering my heart into pieces

I become crippled only asking “why”?

You never know what you have until its gone, but it seems I can never leave

I’m only begging you please!

Look into my eyes and see!

I feel love, you feel lust

In the end it turns into dust

Enough is enough you’re to tough, to play with my heart

Which is why I have to accept we must be apart

But I will forever love you like the Blue Skies Never End.
