Blue

I was once an innocent girl,

Who knew of nothing bad in the world,

And every time sadness was near,

Would turn her back and cheer,

But as time had gone on,

I could no longer move along,

Friends were turning drear,

And my best transformed into my worse year.

I grew tired each day,

And slept it all away.

What could I possibly do,

For all of my friends had become blue.

Time is only a number,

To those who haven’t a lover,

To care for and need,

Until life turns into a plead.

Finally I learned,

How to stop getting burned,

To become happy,

And get rid of my inside slappy.

So I did what I wanted,

And the sadness took a dumping,

Down into the sea,

Where the blueness was meant to be.
