Blue

I look good in blue.

They say, "blue suits you."

I say yes of course

because I'm blue

like the pew

where I died

and where I lived

and where I dove

into nothingness

and like the sea

where I saw

where I see

the ghosts of my youth

like a chipped tooth

tucked in my back pocket

with a lonely watermelon seed

and I'm blue

like the sky

when the blue world wakes up

and when it sleeps

and when it dies

and when it drinks

the blue kool-aid

so goodnight jade

goodnight ruby

goodnight sapphire

and the world salutes you

because you're blue

and you're sad

and you're hopeful

and you're peaceful

and you're calming

and you're charming

and depressing

and you're stressing

me out.
