Blackfish (free-verse)

I was created;

Never evolved but always been orignal.

All credit is due my Creator.

I can be seen as the Angel of Death amongst beings,

A saving grace to others,

But most of all a royal dynasty.

I never work alone, always with my accolades.

Together, we work as a pack of wolves,

Taking down any opponent we face.

I have been deemed by the public as a serial killer.

My power and strength is used to hunt, never to kill unremorsefully.

Man is worth much more to me than just "the hand that feeds".

As ruler of the sea, I have to maintain my role as dominant one,

As demon fish from hell, as Orcinus Orca, the Killer Whale.

If the top predator of the sea could confess, this would be his story.

My favorite line would definitely have to be "Man is worth so much more than simply 'the hand that feeds.'" it was beautiful piece, thank you for sharing!

Becca.
