The Black Veil

The future is unknown to anyone.

All we can hope for is the best,

Until this short life is done.

Blue, brown, hazel eyes of all earthly guest

Are shrouded by the black veil of the unknown.

Others disagree and are disintegrated into ash.

Some say mating is the key

Uncovering the veil is the true key

Survival of the fittest

That is the only knowledge needed.
