Black Rose Valley by: Jaay Dee Kayy

If I had a black rose for every time love died

It would be the size of a pile three trillion miles high

Where'd it all go?

It was never good to leave me alone

If you dig deep and chisel my heart of stone

In it's place would be a delicate black rose

You gave me gashes a million miles deep

Pain rushes to the surface and I bleed on my silk sheets

Why'd you have to slaughter the innocent sheep?

Feelings of nostalgia rush to my brain

And sometimes I just wanna put an end to the pain

Pictures flash before my eyes, as I tried to say goodnight

But the love we once had... that's what keeps me alive.
