Black Holes
Location
There is a depth to the darkness.
One not that is, but that was,
And will continue to be.
A vivid longing upon the quest
Of unknown discovery.
And in times, the quench of pain
Does not cease by those holes.
Holes whose sight
Blaze in utter silence,
And of utmost tranquillity.
And there,
There is where I choose to reside.
In the mist of emptiness
So vast as the sea sky-
I look at thee and see me.
No, I see we.
You, I-
She, he.
In two pearl dark keys
I see the unlocked whole-
A picture of history unfolds,
Into two, four, eight, sixteen.
I see more than I will ever be.
In those black holes,
Those dreadful dead stars become
My home of inquiry.
Questions of what resides upon the
Horizon of endless possibilities.
And while in fear I moan
For what is unknown,
Admiration washes over me
As a big long strip tease.
In those two black holes
There is not that is,
but what was,
And will continue to be.
There is the history of life
And not the presence of time.
In an instant all began
And with your tear- all deceased.
Nebulas, planets, you, me-
Whole worlds were pulled inward
In some point to be;
The explosion
Forged what is,
But more importantly what we'll see.
We broke in two, four, eight, sixteen.
Beyond that tampered void
Elements collided all thanks to thee;
And scattered across the
Waves of the sea.
See those eyes are not ones
That portray life as seen.
They are those mesmerizing brown eyes
Which hold the story
Of all that could be.
