Bitter Innocence

Location

Daddies been out drinking, yet again

babies just a crying, will this ever end

mamas going crazy, just killing time

she watches the blood, she wants to die

theres a little girl playing around back

no idea mommy is being under attack

a little mind fills with bitter innocence

grows up with such a fearful stance

this home is slowly falling apart

mommy turns to drugs, to heal her heart

daddies still out drinking, yet again

babies still a crying, will this ever end

little boy in the closet covers his ears

as daddy shouts to mommy, he sheds a tear

a little mind with such bitter innocence

grows up with such a bitter sense

this home is slowly falling apart

mommy turns to drugs, to heal her heart

daddies still out drinking, yet again

babies still a crying, will this ever end

daddies in the kitchen, just raising Cain

mamas tired of trying, shes going insane

babies just a crying, will this ever end

little minds not so innocent

daddies out drinking, yet again

babies just a crying, will it ever end

mamas goin' crazy, killing more than time

as she watches blood, shes just wants him die

mommy is starting to live again

daddies in the casket laying with all his sins

babies just a laughing, i hope it'll never end

kids playing with such innocence
