Bibliophilism

Life is a challenge

That, all of us know

If you can’t succeed

Then just get up and go

But you taught me to fight

For what I believe

To see the good all around me

To always achieve

You planted many seeds

Of magic, wonder, and interest too

To explore other world’s

To discover what’s true

You taught me I’m special

Because of my unique personality

You taught me to love

Those who are different than me

You were always there

Whether times be happy or sad

Whether I be helpless and weeping

Or angry and mad

At times I believed

You were my only friend

You were the one

In whose time I would spend

And after all these years I keep coming back

And learning new things

And going new places

And getting new wings

To soar higher and Higher

To places I’ve never heard of

With the knowledge you’ve brought me

And the I’ve come to love

Now look right here

Something catches my eye

I see something new

Something I must buy

Now that I have you, I’ll sit right down

I’ll open you up to page number one

And I won’t stop for a moment

Until I am done.
