Betrayal (Pt i)

So there you stand,

the knife in your back.

Trying to twist it out,

but don't you know that won't work?

The only thing that may ease the pain

is seeing your betayer's face again.

To ask the simple question: why?

As they wait for you to die.

You'll scream out to the heavens,

looking for the answer there.

Alas, your request falls onto silent ears.

So, as you wait for that last lingering breath-

you'll beg for mercy and plead for forgiveness.
