Best Friends Will Never Truly be Apart

So lonely I will be, without hearing your laughter next to me.

Our witty jokes make us shine I cant imagine burning out and dieing.

But every light dims once in a while, and every heart will break at times.

I'm leaving you and you the same with me,

I never thought this day would come,

the very moment our lives will move on.

Move on from the school which held so many friends,

on from the houses where we shared the dreams in our heads.

And I wonder now if you ever knew that you were the stitches keeping our hearts in tact,

every moment we seperated we would come together stronger in fact.

Although the thread holding us together is thinning,

we will manage to cling on to that.

and just in case the thread breaks, we'll build bridges to see

that the friendship we hold is worth more that Gods sun.

We are the dark side of the mood and the glowing stars in the sky.

The people of the world will stare up at us and admire the love that won't tear us apart.

So hold on tight as we ride the comet of life.

Never loose sight of our eluminating light.

We wont be together but our hearts will be tethered.

Just know I could never be without you my friend.
