Best Days of Our Lives

They said that highschool

Would be the best days of our lives

But was high school the same

Before dad became husband and mom became wife

This is a new era

A new world, a new age.

A new generation of animals

Locked in the same cage

trying to destroy one another

Their demise is of no concern

to those devils in the hell halls

just waiting for you to burn

and if you were to succeed

they find ways to bring you down

making you feel unworthy

of the happiness you found.

No matter which way you spin it,

highschool is hell

For the unworthy, different, and outcast

that can't wait to leave this Hades

And put this in the past
