Believe

There is a boy in English who doesn't believe in things
He sits beside me and looks for Waldo,
Sometimes he looks for me
He does not believe in learning

He comes in on Cloud Nine, most days.
He sits beside me and sees things that aren't there,
I do not think he sees me
He does not believe in reality

He listens to the music I like
He sits beside me and we talk about songs
I wish he was always this way
He does not believe in sober days

He came and told me stories
He sits beside me and I pretend its okay
His arms have scars
He does not believe in himself

He makes us laugh on his darkest days
He sits beside me and I wonder for how long
There is a boy in English who doesn't believe in things,
But I believe in him.
