Hides

Behind the Curtain because he is

Afraid

Of what people will think of his true

Identity.

I Hide

Behind the Curtain because I am

Cautious

Of what people will think of my true

Thoughts.

To the Wizard,

Words are only words-

Filled with lies and empty promises,

With deceit.

But I am not the Wizard.

Words are not only words-

Sometimes words are all a man has,

Filled with hope and truth,

With life.

So why hide?

The Wizard allowed his words to hurt-

He hid out of

Shame.

I will not allow my words to hurt.

Sometimes, the

Truth

Is too much to handle. Sometimes ,

Hope

Seems too much too ask for. Sometimes,

Life

Described in words is the most powerful tool of all.

Those words which the Wizard abuses

And I refuse to use

Can do more harm than help.

So I hide them behind the curtain of my

Lips,

Mind,

Soul,

Actions…

Silence.
