Everything is changing, 

I am growing older.

But as time flashes by

I know I've grown stronger.

I remember the things

I've been put through,

But even with them here,

I have learned that they make

My spirit glow brighter.

I have taken it in,

these new changes in my life,

And with that being said,

I know that nothing can

ever hurt me the way it was

when I was just a kid.

With this being said,

I am no longer who I was.

I'm a new person, a new being

Shining brightly towards 

The double doors to my future

Where my life will finally

Begin again.
