The Bee Hive

Location

Small and innocent I came to thee

A hive of the buzzing, cute bumblebee

Growing up, I begin to see

Leaving my simplicity

That we bumblebees, with passion, do sting

Even our very own, humble queen and king

We look to get ahead of the rest

To, someday, reach a position that fits us best

A special few see differently, however, in a way so profound

Unfortunately, their fellow bee prefers chasing them to the ground

But these special ones won't be stopped

Definitely, they can't be topped

Merely because they don't follow norms of the hive

Chasing a sweet honey, they don't just survive

From this off-beat style, I derive

To live in the moment, flawless by nature, and really, really be alive
