Because of You

You are the reason why my life is a constant misery,

You lied, abused, and hurt me leaving me aside to drown in my own tears.

Hopeless I felt because of your addiction your addiction caused me to be angry at you.

Because of you I don't even recognize the girl that once knew her path.

Once you loved

You loved more than words itself could explain.

I had no doubt you were the best mom in the world

Yet somehow you let the forces of evil convince you it was ok to take that chance.

I knew you wanted to be different

But you were pressured into thinking things would be fine

They aren't and now you see the scars on my body were from you

Because of you I am forced to live a lie under your shadow.

It was simply all because of you.
