Because, my dear, I love you

It seems as it will always be

Holding you close in my arms,

No matter where we are on the sparkling sea,

You keep me safe from harm.

We may be stranded on this island,

We may yearn for the olive-branch laden dove,

But we know that life is grand,

Since we are together and thrive off our love.

This is all that matters now,

Not when we will escape,

Forever and ever curled up next to you.

Oh, it doesn't matter how we arrived,

Or how we've gotten to be in this shape,

Cause as long as we're together, we'll make it through,

Because, my dear, I love you.

On this island I would never be able to survive,

If I was all alone.

Especially if I didn't have my meds,

And was standed far from home.

Yet you are here, and keep me grounded,

And we dream and love and share,

I am glad to be by your side,

And know that you care,

Because, my dear, I love you.

The one thing I can not live without is your love

Keeping me strong,

Getting me to keep moving forward,

I love you my prince.

I love you more than you know.

If I was stuck on an island,

There is only one thing I would need to have near,

That is you, the ability to snuggle and hold your hand,

And knowing that no matter you'll always love me and always be near,

Because, my dear, I love you.
