Because I Love You

Because I love you

You'll never go to bed hungry

I will always let you eat the last slice of pizza

I will never point out your stretch marks

Because I love you

I will kiss your thighs,

Your stomach,

And your cellulite.

Because I love you,

I will never look hungrily at another woman.

Because I love you,

I will make sure your feet are covered when you go to bed

And that your head always have a pillow to lay down on.

Because I love you,

You'll be the woman to carry my children

And I will be the man to carry you up the stairs when you're too pregnant.

Because I love you,

I will hold you when you're crying

And when you stop

I will be there to give you chicken nuggets

with sweet and sour sauce

I'll do this all

All and more

Just because I love you

And it is you that I adore.
