Beauty of the Unknown

Beauty lies in the unknown

A poem is nothing like it seems at first glance

Underneath the scales of the poem lie the soft internal organs

Every poem is a snowflake, with minor differences from the rest

In that aspect, knowledge can be learned about ourselves and others

The story of Little Red Lighting has a moral that goes for all poems

Looks can be deceiving.

Like the scales that cover the snake

Like the clothes that cover the human

Like the fur that covers the lion

Like the cover that shrouds the book

Looks can be deceiving

The beauty of a poem is that it teaches us the value of our environment

Lessons will be learned about the inner and outer world

Of ourselves and others

Poems have taught me the value of the unknown

For that’s where the beauty and discovery lie

You may have to read a poem

One, two, or three times moreover

And even then, each interpretation will be different

Every poem has the value to be life changing

The beauty of it’s unknown will change the life of the reader

More than just words on a paper, it’s word of the values if life itself

Poems play the role the teacher more than the teacher may even be

For its looks can be deceiving
