The Beauty in Scars

Location

Who am I?

What do I look like without a filter?

Well... I'm beautiful

Who ever thinks otherwise is a blind fool.

Because we all have beauty,

all different types make our visage.

I'm definitely not a cutie,

I lean more towards a rougher image.

Without my mandatory make up,

I'm covered and laced with scars.

To the righteous i'm as loving as a wolf pup.

As for the wicked they're gonna see stars.

From battles I've won and lost my skin is no longer fair

But the gain outweighs the lost.

I've seen where i could've ended and I'm glad i'm not there.

A caring heart is well worth the cost.

So yea I'll turn off my filter!

It makes me see all the clearer.

Let the disguised lead their covered up lives.

I'll still stand by the comrades that kindness revives,

And we'll shine brighter that the sun and moon.
