The Beauty of the Amazons

Stories foretold countlessly

Of the Women who took pictures doubtlessly

Of the Women who need not a filter

Who walk around like weight lifters

The plague that hits our land

Is that they are banned

For there must be a flaw in your system

There has to be at least one symptom

The issue that hits us deep

Is that being an Amazon, doesn’t come cheap

We’re committing self perjury

If we don’t have surgery

The stories foretold of the Amazons

They are our modern day icons

They are our iCarly’s

And our Cardi B’s

Stories foretold countlessly

That beauty comes about soundlessly

That when you get plastic surgery

You’re actually committing perjury

Of your own inner beauty

That is, you are burning your own inner Amazon
