Beauty

Sun, 11/24/2019 - 10:34 -- J.James

Beauty can blind you, from true loves purpose

The physical appearance, can curse you repeatedly

Straight walk is my path, to where my courage is

Trapped in temptation, cause love of beauty to come suddenly

If your thinking more than just beauty

Then your unthoughtful sin will meet mercy

But then again beauty has its purpose, the image of my creator

The attraction of an appealing eye, tends to love greater

Making their visible heart, invisible to your blinded flesh

Steering you away from our fathers image

Not only blocking his heart is vibes, unknown and timid

But jeopardizing you, from aging with grace

You can't express envy cause your blessing didn't go to your face

No diss, only truth, cause beauty isn't only facial appearance

It's a heart and soul image, that want perish

Lords beauty gifts comes in different ways

Mine is through writing, to catch an eager gaze

My beauty is that way...
