To be washed away

Philippians 2:9-11

As a result God highly exalted Him and gave Him the Name
that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus
every knee will bow —in heaven and on earth and under the earth—
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord
to the Glory of God the Father.

Write my name in the sand and patiently wait for rain

So that it may be washed away and truly be forgotten

It seems too late mend the very losses and gains

As now the price is for the hurt I brought to others

Please try to spell it right so no other get mistaken

And pay the price for me as I inflicted all the harm

Unless the Glorious Name of Christ gets forsaken

Who I know will ever be my soothing healing Balm
