To Be Heard

Location

Pictures of my past

Haunt me as they last

Conquer I must

For y future is what I trust

I have grown stronger each year

And finally college is almost here

Applications have been sent

And there’s no need to repent

For atlas I am accepted

And no longer feel decrepit

Mom and dad may cry

But I know these years will fly by

College is my chance to prove myself

I and me and try to be no one else

The past has no power to hold me back

For the future is now and I will no lack

Pictures of my past

Haunt me as they last

Conquer I must

For y future is what I trust

I have grown stronger each year

And finally college is almost here

Applications have been sent

And there’s no need to repent

For atlas I am accepted

And no longer feel decrepit

Mom and dad may cry

But I know these years will fly by

College is my chance to prove myself

I and me and try to be no one else

The past has no power to hold me back

For the future is now and I will no lack
