TO BE

If you could play your life again,

Exactly how would you begin?

If you knew this was all you had,

Would you take the good and bad?

How about laughing more and being slow?

Claiming precious moments, allowing to show,

The mystery of nature and all its wonder.

We let it pass and fail to ponder

That we are made-up of the same sparks;

Photons, protons and up and down quarks.

The chair, tv, trees and bugs,

We're all related even our rugs.

The physics are known and math the key

To all we smell, touch, hear and see.

In this basic form we are all the same.

Neuron brains give us the claim,

Superiority of consciousness and thought.

But this should cause us to think naught,

That the shape we have here and now

Will endure on we know not how.

It's false to think this is true.

But there is no reason to be blue.

For from stardust came we to be

And returning to same is eternity.
