Battle with Myself

Sitting up at night, brick by brick I let my barrier down. In the light of the moon I sit in silence and cry. I've let the world get to me once again. With the razor in my hand i watch the blood run down my arm in disgrace

Now I have the scars, I regret the pleasure it gave me for just one second. One second of relief from the battle I'm having with myself.

All the times I have been hospitalized I have hurt my family. I go back to my room at night, thinking of all the things I have done and I put the cold razor to my skin once more, just waiting for the day I am done with this battle with myself.
