The Battle of Life and Death

What does it mean when a person says that are giving up?

What does it mean when no one around chooses to hear the voices of those crying out their last pleas for help before they have nothing left to live for.

They say that we do not share what we are feeling.

They say that we all hide it until it is to late.

But no,

No we don't,

No one listens to us until it is too late,

They think that we are just kidding around and that we aren't serious,

but in reality we are crying out for help,

we are needing help,

we are fighting this fight,

with the demons inside,

they do not fight fare and they do not care,

they don't care how weak we are,

they don't care if we die,

they don't care if we hurt,

and yes we are asking for attention,

because how can get better when we are always being over looked,

we don't want to die,

we are just left with an empty feeling inside

a emptiness that echos the voices

the voices of those demons

the demons that will do anything to see us fall,

that want us in a grave so badly that they will dig a grave in our hearts,

so that we cannot feel the way others do,

we cannot feel love the way we should,

we feel nothing,

there is a hole in our hearts that make it impossible to breathe,

impossible to do any normal thing,

how can we ask for help when it is impossible for us to breathe.

they don't understand how we feel,

they do not see the pain that we hide,

they do not hear the echos of the demons telling us to give us

the demons that are weighing us down,

that are trying to make us believe that there is nothing left for us to live for.

and why shouldn't we listen to them

when all these people around us are telling us that its not that bad

that things will get better,

things will never get better

no one will help us

and our demons are just going to keep drowning us,

who is going to fight for those that have given up hope.

who is going to see when everyone around is so blind by their own problems.

no we will die,

die the way we are now

with our demons finally satisfied knowing that they have won the battle

the battle of life and death.
