Basic.

Why should i suffer my life being called basic?

Day after day.

I get told everyday that since i like coffee i am a basic white girl.

I get told everyday that im a basic white girl because i do not have ¨Daddy problems¨

I get told everyday that im a basic white girl because i wear leggings with boots and a long t-shirt.

But what people do not know is i have reasons for those things i do.

I drink coffee to calm my nerves before i go to school or when im at home and i need some time to think

I have ¨Daddy problems¨ and i have since i was born.

I was in the crossfire of my parents war.

I was adopted at age two, watched my parents go through a divorce.

I watched my father move from girl to girl, have 5 children of his own now and 2 step children.

I wear leggings because they are comfortable, and for cheer practice.

But people do not try to find out who you really are before they talk about you.

They look at you and judge.

Truth is im not the basic one.

Those who judge others without knowing their story is the most basic.

Basic people are all over the world.

We all have at least been basic once in our lives.

Some just continue to be basic.
