Awesome Apostle

The world is full of pain.

Folks run around all deranged.

When life becomes too much,

Some wonder what to clutch.

Ask not why and how;

instead kneel and bow.

Call not on Earth but Jesus,

For He is the one who truly sees us.

Not as faults and sin,

But as warriors fighting to win.

At the beginning there were twelve,

Who heard their calling like a bell.

These were disciples of Jesus Christ,

Who own wants were not sufficed.

They chose to go beyond a steeple,

They went out to spread the Word to the people.

They were key Missionary teachers,

Attempting to reach every creature.

I am today's St. Paul.

I will go beyond every wall.

I was sent by an awesome God,

Who made me perfectly flawed.

I am here to touch masses,

I see past my glasses.

I am a STEM major;

Beyond that a savior.

I want to help others,

All my sisters and brother.

We are all created in His image,

Not competing in some sort of scrimage.

My God is an awesome God,

I will empower the flawed.

I am awesome just as He,

And awesome I shall forever be.
